HISTORY
Latest addition in the stable. This was acquired from BRABUS’ own PR Manager, specially built for him in 2008 to emulate the original leichtbau program in 1988. A 190 2.6 donor car was stripped and rebuilt from the ground up to Brabus specifications with full build progress photos and files to prove. This very same car has been driven and tested by many journalist throughout the years as well as being one of Brabus’ show car. And more recently, MB UK Enthusiast magazine did a photo shoot at MB World in June 2016. A quick Google search will reveal many articles about this car, its performance figures and various discussions in car forums. It is the only one to come out of Brabus showroom in this form, 2 seats and a roll cage. The Original 1988 was a mere prototype and was never s old according to Brabus.

HISTORY
Acquired in 2013, Original Swiss delivery, 2 Owners. Engineered to keep up, after 20 something years, with today’s modern standards. Aside from the Porsche connection, its presence and inner values is what makes this car so impressive. Porsche shoehorned a 326Hp, five litre, 4 valve V8 engine derived from a well proven 500SL power unit back in the day. Distinguishable from a regular 124 by its discreet wide flared arches and lowered stance. Agile like a sports car but yet comfortable, which is the surprising aspect of its suspension system! Despite the taut set up, springs and dampers absorb surface irregularities in a well mannered way. This example is in original factory form with refreshed paint and various interior trims. Also fitted with correct diamond cut finished EVO II alloys.

HISTORY
2016, Original German delivery, then Japan and DXB. Based on a E500 with similar characteristics but with the Engine displacement being increased by AMG to 6litres with AMG crank, pistons and cams. Only limited numbers were made in the latter years, 1994-1995 and only produced in 2 colours, Brilliant silver and Sapphire black. Known as 957 and 958 factory data code, and debated among enthusiasts that supposedly only 12 were ever made, but not quite proven. It has had a recent Brembo brake upgrade, wavetrac LSD and 2 Piece AMG alloys fitted. As with the E500, the ride quality is impressive for its age. Not to mentioned that the Value of these Limited versions has increased in recent years.

HISTORY
Another original Swiss delivery acquired in 2014. Meticulously maintained by 1 previous owner car with an impeccable service history. Finished in Brilliant silver and sits on AMG 2 piece BBS alloys. As with the e500 and E60, it is powered by the legendary M119 but with later ME Coil packs ignition system and bored to 6litres by AMG. Variations of R129s in AMG 6L form started as early as 1990 with KE Jetronic, then (1993 - 1995) with LH Jetronic and later from 1996 to 1998 being ME, with mid production years face lifts, made these versions more desirable. Together the 5speed outbox was also introduced during this time. No SL60s were produced after 1997 or last of the facelifts. This particular example is also equipped with ADS II suspension which can be raised manually.
